The diamond that the salesperson showed us was very yellow and off hue. ?Yes rhinestone jewelry, perhaps BH and I are going for a slightly lower color diamond for a bigger carat (we’re still talking near colorless diamonds here), but the color and clarity of the diamonds we saw at Icing on the Ring faced up white and were brilliantly clear and near white when seen from the side (that’s how you see the true color of the diamond if you don’t have a white background to contrast against). After finally looking at the Tag Huer watch and my husband saying yes to purchasing the watch..the sales rep mood changed 360…offering coffee tea..to polish the watch and so forth…this is such great customer service to be insulted and at the same time disrespected being an assistant manager. We made business to someone who thought we were poor…..and that is a very sad senario my friends……

Talk about quick and friendly service! Took in my Movado thinking it was broken for good and I would have to spend WAY too much money to get a new band. However, after about 5 minutes of messing with it, he had it fixed and working again. ?Also, had a battery put in one of my other watches. ?All of this done while I waited and the price was out of this world. I will definitely be coming back here for any watch repairs I may need in the future. ?Also, for those who are looking for it. The shop is on the second level, small place, right above the toy store in the farmer’s market. They don’t validate, so stop and grab some coffee on your way out!
I have been going to Majestic Jewelers for as long as I can remember. ?(They were across the street on the south side of Third Street for years before moving to Fairfax, and now they are across the street again … this time ?in the Farmers Market.)The husband and wife who own it know their stuff. ?And, if they don’t think something is worth fixing, they’ll tell you. ?I totally trust them. ? I’ve recommended Majestic to friends who have needed jewelry and watches repaired, and my friends have all been extremely happy with the results. ?All I can say is that I hope they never retire. As people have mentioned Body jewelry, it can be tricky to find … but definitely worth it. ?(It is across from Kips Toyland … look for the shingle and go upstairs.)

This is a really great place to shop and hang out. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of clothing for men and women. They make iron on shirts. Needless to say I found something that caught my eye and ended up buying a custom leather bracelet. Being a musician, this stuff appeals to me. In this duration the staff helped my girlfriend pick out an outfit for the night since we didn’t feel like driving all the way home. Everything worked out great. Prices were very reasonable. And they are open later than normal stores. I’m not a shopper at all, but this was actually a delightful experience. As a male being dragged along, I wish all clothing stores had this kind of vibe vintage necklaces, expertise and selection! We have returned since then and they always seem to have something new. Dishonest. Went to get my ring appraised and they told me it was $600/$700 and that it was white gold setting and maybe I could get $400 for it. Went to another jeweler and got a written appraisal of $3200. It is a platinum setting. Buyer beware. Not to be trusted!!!!!!!!!

great establishment in atwater village…..
Been meaning to write a review for this place for a while now, I discovered this place because my hairdresser is right next door. ?Now I’m hooked! ?I always get sooo many compliments whenever I wear my Workshop jewelry. ?If you are looking for really unique, hand made jewelry, make sure to check this store out. ?Serena the owner/artist uses really high quality stones on silver and gold to make gorgeous artisan jewelry. ?I have bought several pieces for friends and family as a really special beautiful gift. ?Always a hit Men’s Jewelry!
If you’re looking for beautiful and unique handcrafted jewelry, this is the shop for you! ?Serena is an enormously talented artist with a flair for designing jewelry that is at once modern and graceful. ?Her designs in sterling silver and gold feature of variety of gorgeous gemstones and she also works with such unique materials as neoprene. ?Every time I wear her jewelry, I receive compliments and people always say how much they like the elegance and simplicity of her designs. ?I love the fact that I can wear her pieces every day. ?Her earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings look as good with a pair of jeans as they do with more dressy clothes! ?Workshop is also a really pleasant place to shop. ?Serena and her assistants are always friendly and there to help, whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for a gift.

This store has a whole lot of beads, bracelets CZ Jewelry, chains wholesale jewelry, hoops, pins, rhinestones, etc. ?A big shop, both retail and wholesale sales. ?There have one single rack of women’s clothes by a wall, colorful and decadent dresses which is pretty much blocked off by a table full of jewelry. ?The primary merchandise is bejeweled accessories. ?One of the biggest selections for this type of thing. The owner said they sell mostly to stores, and celebrities. ?And they will make whatever you describe to them. ?Jewelry making classes once a month, call for the dates as it changes often. They specialize in crafting delicate leaves in cooper Silver Jewelry, gold and silver.
I went last Monday and noticed they didn’t look entirely open. ?There was someone inside, but no hours posted outside (except something about open M-F for delivery), so I called to see when they were there. ?Apparently they are only open Tuesdays and Wednesdays (or some other mid-week two days, I can’t remember 100%). ?It was torture to see all the pretty shiny objects in the windows, and not be able to go inside. ?I’m guessing the strange hours are based on them being more of a wholesale location. ?But it does seem weird to be right there on Melrose, with fabulous looking merchandise displayed in the window, and only be open two days a week.
